Ingredients

  • 8 medium/large short ribs
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 1 cup diced celery
  • 2 cans 28oz Hunts crushed tomatoes (Whole30 compliant)
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 cups Whole30 approved beef broth
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/3 cup Olivino Traditional Balsamic
  • 1 tsp Olivino Ultra-Premium Olive Oil

  Directions

  • Fry bacon and set aside, and reserve bacon grease.
  • Turn crock pot on low.
  • Lightly oil the bottom of crock pot with olive oil.
  • Add remaining ingredients and give a good stir.
  • Season all sides of short ribs with kosher salt and sear in olive oil.
  • Once all short ribs are seared, add to crock pot, and relax!
  • Let cook for 8 hours and enjoy.
  • Reserve leftover broth and use for Olivino Whole30 Vegetable Soup!
